Sowing the Seeds
a collective of women writers

Welcome to Sowing the Seeds!

Home

Sowing the Seeds is a collective of women writers in Tucson, Arizona.
We've been active since we were founded in 2000 to promote the humanities in our community.
Initially we were sponsored by the Southwest Institute of Research on Women (SIROW) at the University of Arizona to receive grant funds from the Arizona Humanities Council and the Stocker Foundation but have been self sufficient since 2001.
Besides our meetings to share and critique our writing, we also sponsor quality writing workshops and conferences with known guest facilitators and presenters.

We meet regularly on the second Saturday of each month. Women interested in attending a meeting of our collective can contact us for more information.

Due to working our new anthology, we are not accepting new members until January 2010.
